This staff survey helps us understand your professional experiences working across our primary care network. Your insights will directly inform how we develop and improve services for both our patients and our valued staff members.

IMP Healthcare is conducting this staff evaluation as part of our commitment to creating an excellent working environment across our nine GP practices.

Thiscovery collects your survey responses on behalf of IMP Healthcare. We follow the highest standards of data protection to ensure your confidentiality.

Your practice management may have informed you about this survey, but they will not see your individual responses or know whether you have participated.

• Your satisfaction with current working arrangements and what works well in your role
• Challenges and frustrations you face in delivering patient care
• Your comfort level with digital health tools and technology

• Which practice you primarily work at
• Your professional role (GP, nurse practitioner, practice manager, etc.)
• Your experience level and time in current role
• Your comfort with digital technology

Wellbeing and support information:

• What support you need to do your job effectively
• What would make you feel more valued in your role
• Your views on mental health and wellbeing support

Important: Your professional role and practice location might potentially make you identifiable when combined with your detailed responses, especially in smaller teams. We take extra care to protect this information.

Right to withdraw: You can stop taking part at any time and choose not to answer any questions that make you uncomfortable.

How will we keep your information completely confidential?

Strict separation and anonymisation:

• Your responses will be completely anonymised before any analysis
• No individual responses will ever be shared with IMP Healthcare management
• Thiscovery will only provide IMP Healthcare with a summary report containing key themes and aggregated findings ‍
• Your individual survey data will NEVER be transferred to IMP Healthcare

Ultra-secure systems:

• All information is encrypted and stored on secure, certified systems
• Only the independent research team at Thiscovery can access your individual responses
• We follow strict security standards and use certified deletion tools
• Multiple technical safeguards prevent any possibility of re-identification

Professional confidentiality guarantee:

• No manager, practice partner, or colleague will ever see your individual answers
• Reports will only show overall themes and patterns across all respondents
• Any direct quotes used will be completely anonymised and may be lightly edited to prevent identification
• Small group responses will be combined with others to prevent identification

Important: We understand that healthcare professionals need absolute confidence in confidentiality. This is why we have designed extra protections specifically for this staff survey.

• Local NHS commissioners (aggregated data only)
• Professional development teams

Will NEVER see your individual responses:

• Your direct manager or clinical supervisor
• Practice partners or senior partners
• Individual practice teams
• Any colleague or peer

Complete confidentiality guarantee: Only the independent research team at Thiscovery will ever see your individual survey responses.

How long will we keep your information?

Your individual survey responses:

• Held securely by Thiscovery for 24 months after project completion
• Used only for producing the anonymised report for IMP Healthcare
• Permanently and securely deleted using certified deletion tools

Aggregated summary report:

• IMP Healthcare will keep summary findings for service improvement purposes
• Contains no identifiable information about individual staff members
• Used for ongoing professional development and service planning

Complete data separation: IMP Healthcare will never receive or store your individual responses.

Your choices and rights

You have complete control:

• Participate in the whole survey or just sections that interest you
• Skip any questions you prefer not to answer
• Stop at any time during the survey without giving a reason
• Request that Thiscovery deletes your individual responses (we will do this immediately, as long you have provided your name so we can identify and locate these)

Important protections:

• Your employment will not be affected in any way by participating or not participating ‍
• Performance reviews and career progression will not be influenced by your survey participation ‍
• No individual consequences will ever result from your honest feedback

Professional assurance: This survey is designed to improve your working environment, not to monitor or assess individual performance.
